DFEA2020 – Dependable and Flexible Electrical Architecture 2020
Handling the increasing complexity of electrical systems is identified in the automotive industry as one of the key enablers for managing future function growth and the shift from mechanical solutions to mechatronics.
New technologies drives and give new opportunities in the field of safety (IVIS and ADAS solutions), Green Driving (motivate and support change behavior, hybrid/electric powertrains) and Connected Car (V2V, V2I, I2V etc.). These applications share many enabling technologies, and in order to utilize synergies, support innovation agility while maintaining a safe system without uncontrolled dependencies new demands are put on the architecture of the total on-board electrical system.
Intentions of DFEA2020 are to study automotive aspects of:
- Electrical architectures enabling functional growth within green, safe and connected.
- Idealized solutions in electrical architecture, also known as a reference architecture.
- Electrical architecture base technologies.
- Models to support architectural reasoning and simulation of electrical architecture characteristics.
- Methods for achieving essential system properties, e.g. functional safety.
- Methodologies for electrical architecture development.
