How do studies at KTH differ from your previous studies?

The biggest difference I can feel is that no one will push me to do something, and I should always be responsible for my future. Here, self-discipline is the key to learning, which is a good way to work on yourself. Additionally, KTH does encourage students to think and be creative. Some events give students support and guidance for start-ups, which is unusual in my previous studies. Surprisingly, my school also provides us with opportunities to join seminars in small groups, talk to our programme director, and gain some experience from our seniors. This is also the first time I have had such

How would you describe your time at KTH so far?

During the first month of my journey at KTH, I attended many student events offered by THS, a student union of KTH. I met many fellow students from different majors and from around the world. This is an awe-inspiring experience I have ever had. After that, I began my study for this semester. Here, I met several like-minded friends from my field of study. Furthermore, I explored Stockholm when I had a break from my studies. After travelling around Europe, I can guarantee that Stockholm is one of the most charming cities in Europe. In all, I would like to say that my time at KTH so far has definitely been a wonderful time of my life.

During your application period, what was the most useful resource that you got from KTH?

I highly recommend that those who are considering applying for KTH go through KTH's official website. You will get all the information about the application and the majors you want to apply for. For example, you can check the courses offered by your target programme and also get to know what kind of pre-hand bachelor's courses you are required to attend this programme. What's more, after you get admitted, you will have a chance to talk to the student ambassador from your programme, who you can ask oriented questions and learn about student life in advance.

Are there any student events/associations that you enjoy and can recommend?

For first-year students, the events held by THS before the official semester starts are the most welcomed events among international students. By attending these activities, we can make new friends worldwide and quickly fit into such an international environment. Besides, KTH also offers webinars to introduce our campus, schools, upcoming events, etc., which are also recommended for both already admitted students and prospective students. We also have multiple choice for all kinds of student associations, such as sports associations and student unions.

What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for master's studies?

KTH is a gorgeous and outstanding school for all of you who want to study abroad. Here, you will obtain a solid foundation of knowledge and chances to join excellent research groups and get in touch with creative and open-minded people. You won't regret studying in KTH, coming to Stockholm, and living in Sweden. Just study hard now, go through the website, prepare yourselves, and submit the applications! You will have a great future and a great student life here at KTH!
