NORDLOG doctoral workshop 2024

The NORDLOG doctoral workshop is carried out once a year, usually the day prior to the NOFOMA annual conference. 2024, the NORDLOG workshop is in Stockholm on 12 June.

About NORDLOG doctoral workshop

The NORDLOG Doctoral Symposium is an inspiring full-day event for PhD students to share experiences and learn from senior researchers. The symposium places strong emphasis on facilitating networking with future colleagues and receiving updates about ongoing research, discussions, and topics that are relevant for researchers engaging in advanced research in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

This year, the symposium will be held on June 12th as part of the NOFOMA conference in Stockholm, Sweden. The keynote speaker for the symposium is Professor Chee Yew Wong from Leeds University Business School, who is also the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management. Following the keynote speech, a group of selected experts will discuss research ethics and plagiarism. Attendees will be given small assignments by the presenters to be submitted by the end of the day.

Full attendance to the symposium and submission of the assignments will give 1.5 ECTS.

A certificate stating the attendance and earned credits will be released to the students at the end of the conference.

The place for the doctoral symposium is room Q17  ( Malvinas väg 6A , floor 3)
