Micro-hardness
A micro-hardness tester that operates under a heavy load range. Attachable to an optical microscope.
Micro-hardness is measured with a constantly applied load on the sample surface through the pyramidal diamond tip under specified load and time. In our laboratory, we have Matsuzawa MXT-a1 microhardness tester, which can be operated between a load range 25 g to 2000 g.
The attached optical microscope has two objective lens options 10X, 40X which helps to accurately position the sample at the working plane.
