Ask Gregor a question

Why did you choose this master’s programme at KTH?

I chose the programme because I wanted to shift my focus towards sustainable development. Since I come from an ICT background, Sustainable Digitalisation was the perfect choice. This kind of programme wasn't offered anywhere else in Europe (at least during my search), so I had the unique opportunity to experience something new. KTH was also at the top of my list of universities I wanted to attend, so finding this specific programme was simply perfect.

How do studies at KTH differ from your previous studies?

I feel much more engaged during my lectures. Not having more than two or three classes at once also makes the schedule much more manageable. This helps me stay focused and allows me to give each course my absolute best. In the past, I had to juggle five or six classes at once, which was a major source of stress, and I often felt overworked. I also find that calling professors and other faculty members by their first names helps me feel welcome.

How would you describe your time at KTH so far?

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. I have attended several student pubs (some even with my professors) and met many interesting people. Since we are a rather small programme, there are only nine students, we really got to know each other well, and we spend a lot of time together outside of class, like going to dinner or shopping! Oh, and the main KTH Campus, where all of my studies take place, is absolutely gorgeous so coming to class honestly always feels pleasant.

What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for master's studies?
I would strongly encourage anyone who finds a master's programme here at KTH that genuinely interests them to choose it. If you do, you will have the opportunity to attend one of the most prestigious technical universities in the world, which will provide you with extraordinary opportunities. KTH is exceptionally well-equipped, has amazing professors, and genuinely supports its students.

During your application period, what was the most useful resource that you got from KTH?
My preferred resource was the webinars. They were filled with useful information in an easy-to-digest format, and I got most of the necessary information for both the application period and after attending them. They also have a Q&A chat where you can send in any specific questions that might not have been directly addressed.
