Why did you choose this master’s programme at KTH?

I chose this master's programme at KTH for two main reasons: the excellent academic environment and the interesting student life. On the academic side, KTH is a school where I can truly learn useful skills and stand out in a competitive world. On the social side, students here find a great balance between study and life. They enjoy life but are also passionate about learning, which is something I really want to experience.

What are the best aspects of your programme?

There are a variety of course tracks to choose from. For such a broad programme, it's very helpful that after completing the core compulsory courses in the first semester and becoming familiar with KTH's environment and teaching style, we can then choose our own track. This approach feels very flexible and student-friendly to me.

How is student life in Stockholm?

This is my first time living in a Nordic country, and I originally thought I might have some culture shock and inadaptability to climate, but that didn't happen. I arrived in Stockholm a month before the semester, enjoying the summer sun, historic buildings, beautiful lakes, and many student activities. It made me feel relaxed and quickly integrated. After classes began, weekdays became busier, but on weekends, I enjoy grocery shopping and having house dinners with friends, which is always a highlight.

During your application period, what was the most useful resource that you got from KTH?

For example, KTH's website, webinars, ask a KTH student, etc. I found the webinars to be extremely helpful. During my undergraduate graduation, I applied to different master's programmes at various schools, but I have to say that KTH provides the best information and support for new students. The webinars, in particular, share a lot of key information that is very useful before arriving at KTH, and you can ask the hosts any questions you may have. This really enhances the student experience and makes everything more convenient.

What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for master’s studies?

First of all, Sweden is an outstanding country regarding gender equality, environmental protection, and scientific research. This environment ensures that students can study and live freely and happily. Once you receive your offer, you'll also get information from KTH that reflects the school's friendly care for incoming students. If you're choosing a programme in the field of computer science, KTH is definitely a great choice. Here, you'll find historically rich buildings to study, friendly students, and helpful professors.
