Format and content

Format: PDF

File size: Maximum size of 15 MB, at most 9 pages + 1 page cover sheet, single-sided, no spreads.

Page size: We recommend landscape A-format (DIN). Do not submit material wider than 16:9. Each page has to be readable for reviewers both as printed in A3 format and displayed on a laptop screen.

Content: The portfolio should present your educational projects; avoid projects from work or internships. Minimum 3-4 projects, preferably no group work. For each project included, state your home university, which year of the studies you did the project and if the work was produced by you individually or in collaboration with others.

Anonymous portfolio: Do not include your name anywhere in the portfolio. Include your 8-digit application number on the first page of the portfolio instead. Do not mix up the 8-digit application number with the programme code (E0121).

File name: The file name should be the same as the application number, for example, 75387612.pdf. Sharepoint adds a prefix that identifies who uploaded the file. We will remove your name from the file before the portfolio is assessed so that only your application number is visible to the jury.

Uploading instructions

  1. Submit your portfolio in support of your application to MSc Architecture via Sharepoint . First, you will be asked to select the file you want to submit.
  2. After you have selected your file, a prefix with your name will appear. However, we will remove your name from the file before the jury views the portfolio. Your file size is displayed, make sure it is no larger than the maximum file size of 15 MB. Click on “Upload.”
  3. After you have uploaded your file, you will receive a message that you are “Finished uploading”. This confirms that we have now received your portfolio.
