The course aims at increasing the knowledge and ability to prepare research articles that maintain such quality that they can be published in scientific journals. What do the writing and publishing processes look like; How do you put up the writing; How do you choose a journal and what are the different requirements for publishing quantitative and qualitative empirical data within health and technology.

The course literature consist of Harris, D (2012) Writing Human Factors Research Papers. Ashgate Publishing Ltd., combined with research papers distributed when the course start.
Examination and completion
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Grading scale
Examination
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
The course is examined through active participation in joint seminars and a written draft for a research paper.
Other requirements for final grade
P/F. Participation in seminars is mandatory and must be at least 80% for approved.
