Students acquire skills to design, size, optimize and operate these energy systems. Graduates have a holistic overview of decentralized energy systems, specialized competencies in energy engineering and a strong international network.
Engineering Materials Science
The programme has a cross-functional approach, exploring existing materials, processes and applications, and providing you the skills to develop new ones. You can specialise in Industrial Materials, Materials and Process Design, or Sustainable Materials. Graduates have valuable expertise in materials science needed in many industries and sectors, for example, manufacturing, automotive and energy.
Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Systems (Joint EIT InnoEnergy)
The programme equips students with skills to minimise the environmental impact of current and future energy systems. Students gain a broad knowledge of energy systems and follow a specialisation in, for example, Energy Efficiency, Solar Systems or Offshore Energy. Students also acquire skills in innovation and commerce. Eight universities offer the programme through EIT InnoEnergy.
Industrial Management
The programme targets students with a profound engineering background who aim to take leadership positions in industrial and technology-based organisations. Students acquire an understanding of value creation and specialise in areas such as management, leadership, supply chain, industrial transformation, managing research and innovation, strategy and industrial marketing. The programme has extensive industry interaction throughout.
Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering (Joint Nordic Five Tech)
The programme focuses on energy systems designs with economically and environmentally sustainable technologies. Students are awarded degrees from two leading Nordic universities and explore the unique energy engineering expertise of these universities through a specialisation track. Graduates know practices, policies and technologies to supply energy at the least financial, environmental and social cost.
Integrated Product Design
The programme teaches students to create sustainable products, services, systems and business models. In one of two distinct specialisations, students explore either design and functionality aspects of products in relation to users and markets, or the management of innovation and product development processes. Graduates have the expertise for careers in a wide range of industrial and business sectors.
Machine Design
The programme explores the cutting-edge techniques and principles that drive the creation of the machines that power our world. From concept to creation, you will delve into the intricacies of mechanical systems, learning to analyse, design, and optimise everything from robotics and automotive components to sustainable energy solutions. You will graduate ready to lead in the ever-evolving field of machine design.
Mechatronics
The use of electronics and software to enhance mechanical products is increasingly complex yet critical to meet future needs of functionality and performance. Students in the programme explore the synergistic integration of mechanical, electrical, control and software engineering. As a graduate you will have the skills to thrive in this multidisciplinary environment.
Production Engineering and Management
The programme handles the engineering and management aspects of production and how they interact. The engineering side includes manufacturing technologies, automation, maintenance, and production development tools and methods. The management side includes operations strategy, planning and management of resources for a sustainable production environment. Graduates work in various production fields worldwide.
Sustainable Energy Engineering
The programme provides advanced education in solar energy, power generation, energy utilisation and transformation of energy systems.
