Truth in numbers

The latest career report  (available in Swedish) shows that 97 per cent of those who graduated from KTH 2016-2018 have been in employment since they finished their degree. Of the international student population, 12 per cent go on to PhD studies at KTH or other renowned universities. Over half of graduates have leadership positions in their work, and 11 per cent have already received their first managerial position.

A reputation that precedes you

A degree from KTH is a springboard to a successful career. KTH graduates quickly establish themselves on the job market, with over 50 per cent landing their first job even before completing their degree – much thanks to KTH’s strong reputation among employees. In the QS Graduate Employability Ranking 2022, KTH ranked number 70 worldwide for employer reputation.

Companies like Ericsson, SAAB, and Scania post over 1,000 degree project proposals in the KTH project portal  each year. Moreover, 20 per cent of students get their first employment through their degree projects.

As a student, you'll find support with career planning, development seminars, and job applications via KTH Career Services . You'll also get the chance to build connections with industry professionals through networking events and career fairs, in and around campus. THS Armada, one of the largest career fairs in Scandinavia, organized by our Student Union, brings together around 150 companies each year, providing an opportunity for you to network and engage with potential future employers.
