Felippe Clemente is based in the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon, currently his employer and Co-Coordinator of the Academic League of Crime Studies (LAEC/UFV). In 2016, He got his Ph.D. in Applied Economics at the Federal University of Vicosa, Brazil, with a thesis on Tax Evasion: Essays on Tax Evasion. He was recruited as an international researcher at Goethe Frankfurt University, Germany in 2015. He was then recruited as an assistant researcher at the Applied Economics Department, Federal University of Vicosa, from 2016 to 2019. He was also a junior professor at the University of Viçosa under the aegis of the Economics Department for the period 2018/2019. His current research interests focus on corruption and economic crisis, tax evasion, and economics of crime in Europe and abroad.
Dr. Braulio is a doctorate in Sociology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Currently Professor of the Department of Sociology at UFMG, and researcher at the Center for Crime Studies and Public Safety. Maria Zambrano Visiting Scholar at CRÍMINA Center at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. He works mainly in the following subjects: Public Safety, Evidence-based Policing, Criminality and Urban Space, Juvenile Delinquency and Criminal Justice, Geographic Information System and Spatial Analysis.
