Application experts and software developers

  • Application experts (or software developers) at PDC primarily assist researchers in various areas to utilise the PDC systems in an efficient way.
  • Application experts are generally people who have a degree (preferably a Ph.D.) in a research area involving high-performance computing (HPC), along with experience working with HPC systems.
  • Application experts may have a degree in computer science or computational science and (usually) knowledge in a specific research area (for example, molecular dynamics or computational fluid dynamics).
  • Application expert and/or software research/development positions at PDC are advertised on the job openings at PDC  and KTH vacancies  pages.
