CM1006 Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology 6.0 credits
Laboratory oriented medical techniques, specifically clinical chemistry, have seen an enormous development in methods, advanced techniques, automatisation and digitalisation. In parallell, health care and hostpital care have undergone a technological development with an increasing need for knowledgeable engineers to maintain and develop all this equipment.
What is tested with these analytical methods and what is the scientific basis for these+
The hospitals have now asked for engineers with knowledge about the chemistry of the analytical methods, laboratory chemistry and therefore also the chemistry of the body and cells as well as microbiology.
This course aims at providing this knowledge.
