AG115V Safety in the Making 2.5 credits
In this course, students are trained to work with crime and safety issues in public places from an interdisciplinary perspective. Students gain a broad and critical knowledge of the diversity of current theoretical approaches, which situational methods are at hand and learn from the real life examples. The course welcomes students from urban planning, sociology/criminology, architecture and landscape design but also human geography, psychology and economics as well as practitioners from municipalities, county councils, private sector and crime prevention organizations and the police.
