Sustainable Human Centered Design

This research takes humans as a starting-point and aims at both understanding people's everyday lives and creating systems and services based on those. The research focuses on social sustainability and may include normcritical design, working life conditions or sociotechnical challenges. It also aims at deeper understanding of people’s drivers and barriers for transition towards a more sustainable society, or how design can contribute in creating conditions for new everyday practices. The research is characterised by open and explorative design driven methods in collaborative processes.
