Structure Dynamics and Interactions of Cellulose Nanofibrils and Cellulose Nanocrystals in Confine Flows

Project description

Elucidating the structure and dynamics of CNF and CNC as well as characterising materials produced from them is critical in reducting our dependence on fossil fuels. My research focuses on 3 main areas:

•Studying alignment of CNC and CNF

•Deceloping Scattering techniques to determine the width of filaments rapidly

•Dynamics of functionalised filament conductivity for wearable sensors

Project period: 2021 – 2025

Funding: KTH Startup grant
