France: Grenoble INP-UGA's Ginsen Summer School

Ginsen Summer School is a bachelor-level summer programme fully taught in English, organised 16 June to 15 July by Grenoble INP Graduate schools of Engineering and Management, Université Grenoble Alpes.

The summer school costs 3500 euro. However, this year, Ginsen is offering a 30 per cent discount for the 15 first candidates to apply from a Unite! Alliance university - first come, first served.

To apply for the Unite! discount, you must prove their registration for the year 2024/2025 by asking KTH for a formal nomination. Please get in touch with Erasmus Coordinator Anna Hellberg Gustafsson at annahg@kth.se  for more information.

The application deadline for this summer school is 31 March.

After 1 year of break of the Ginsen Summer School programmes, we are so excited to announce that the new edition of our Ginsen Summer Schools 2025 is now officially open! Do you wish to deepen your knowledge in Smart energy or Micro / Nanotechnology, while traveling the world and meet new, exciting people from different cultural backgrounds?

Come and try our Ginsen Summer School ! At the heart of the French Alps, you will study within one of the highest ranking French engineering institutes and have the chance to work in cutting-edge research facilities, while enjoying summer surrounded by gorgeous mountains and with Europe at your doorstep.

Discover our brand new offer : a 4 weeks hybride programme with 1 online week and 3 presential weeks in Grenoble. We'll offer two options to your students : Smart Energy or Nano/MicroTechnology courses and many socio-cultural activities such as visits of scientific sites, hikings, escape-games, language tandems, etc. They will also have basic French lectures, intercultural outputs and many occasions to learn about the French culture.

The fees are 3500€ and include:

  • All lectures and practical sessions
  • Accommodation in Grenoble, 1 private room per student
  • Visits to high-tech facilities
  • Planned extracurricular activities
  • Medical insurance, covering medical expenses and bills for the entire duration of the summer programme
  • Civil liability
