Center for Transport Studies (CTS)
CTS is a network for researchers that is coordinated by KTH in collaboration with the research institute VTI, the authorities' traffic analysis and transport agency and the consulting companies WSP Analysis & Strategy and Sweco.
CTS is a network of researchers in the areas of cost-benefit analysis, sustainable transport, transport models, simulation, financing, organization, interplay between transport systems and the regional economy as well as traveler behavior and value analysis.
CTS was established in 2007 as a research center and ten-year project, funded by Vinnova, the Swedish Transport Administration and the other partner organizations of the Center. Shifting focus in 2018, CTS is now functioning as a research network where researchers and investigators in the field of transport has the possibility to apply for funding of common projects. CTS also publishes research reports and regularly organizes seminars.
