International Credit Mobility (ICM)-KA171
The Mobility of Individuals action is an opportunity for KTH to seek funding for mobility between KTH and universities in non European Partner countries. External Policy Funds, KA171-HED.
Mobility of Individuals is one of the actions within the EU programme Erasmus+ that creates opportunities for staff and students to work, study and strengthen their competences in other parts of the world. Application for this action is done centrally through International relations office.
The Call for Applications
The internal deadline at KTH is usually late January.
Summary of action
The programme contributes to raising the quality of higher education and to get greater transparency between education programmes in different countries. The aim of the programme is also to increase competence and quality through internationalization. Staff mobility is available for both teaching and non-teaching staff and studies are available at all levels.
- For studies the minimum time spent abroad is 2 months (incoming and outgoing).
- For both teaching and non-teaching staff the minimum time spent at a partner organisation is 5 days not including days for travel.
- For teachers going abroad on a teaching assignment there is a minimum of 8 hours teaching per 5 days abroad.
Application and deadline
Application deadline is usually mid-February. KTH will apply centrally for this action to strengthen cooperation and mobility at all levels.

KTH will be responsible for both incoming and outgoing mobility, including scholarship payment. In case of approved application, a call for applying for mobility will be set up.
