Pernilla Ulfvengren, Associate professor at INDEK, and Christine Grosse from Luleå University of Technology gave lectures at the Swedish Parliament research day on 27/3-25.

Pernilla, together with Christine, advocated for Swedish aviation, aviation infrastructure and Swedish aeronautical technology, which contributes to sustainable aviation nationally and globally.

Pernilla held a lecture with the title: “Sustainable aviation - How can we best contribute to future sustainable aviation?” to the Swedish Committee on Transport and Communications and later on participated in a seminar at the Swedish Parliament first chamber with the seminar topic was about knowledge for the future labor market.

Discussion was held about the shortage of STEM professions (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) such as civil engineers, but also the lack of matching between needs and educational choices for other professions.
