Infrastructures

Water infrastructures are a core asset for functional societies. Many of current water infrastructures serving our cities are either reaching the end of their expected lifetime or are under designed, given the sharp increase in urban population of the past decade and the on-going change of the hydrological regime due to climate and land use change. There is a need for rethinking the water-urban environment to match needs of expanding and more sustainable societies. This requires an updated network of infrastructure, above and below ground.
