Projekt vid Boliden

Please contact us for exciting opportunities to do your master degree project at Boliden. The projects concern developing separation processes for recovery of strategic and critical raw materials necessary for the transition to a climate-neutral economy.

Europe has set ambitious climate targets, which are embedded in “The European Green Deal”. To drive the transition to a climate-neutral economy, Europe will need a sustainable and secure supply of key technology metals, which are essential for large-scale renewable energy production and storage as well as the electrification of mobility. However, key metals have been classified by the European Commission as “critical raw materials” (CRMs). To overcome Europe’s dependence on CRMs we must focus on primary mining, urban mining and recycling and CRM substitution.
