PhD Student Kin Wing Wong Wins Best Poster Award at the 31st International Conference on Nuclear Engineering.

PhD student and SUNRISE team member, Kin Wing Wong, presented his research paper titled "Enabling Passive Scalar Wall Modelling in Large Eddy Simulation for Turbulent Flows at High Schmidt or Prandtl Numbers" at the 31st International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE-31), held in Prague, Czech Republic. His outstanding contribution earned him the Best Poster Award at the conference.

The paper, co-authored by Wong, I. Mickus, D. Grishchenko, and P. Kudinov (2024), addresses advanced modeling techniques for improving simulations of turbulent flows in nuclear engineering applications.
