Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The course will cover, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Entrepreneurial leadership
  • Business ethics in a golbal context
  • Organizational culture and governance
  • Breakdowns in entrepreneurial leaderhip and ethics

Intended learning outcomes

Upon successfully completing the course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the context of entrepreneurial leadership and ethics
  • Analyze different approaches to entrepreneurial leadership and ethics
  • Apply entrepreneurial leadership and ethics practices to a wide range of situations
  • Develop an understanding of the complexity and challenges of entrepreneurial leadership and ethics in a global context
  • Identify major risks in leading new ventures
  • Understand key skill sets required to lead entrepreneurial ventures successfully and ethically, including innovation, business model innovation and pivots, cognitive ambidexterity (creation logic and prediction logic), sustainability, ideation, business planning, and more.
