Course syllabus LS1002 (Spring 2024–)The course is designed to help the participants develop the necessary skills for communicating and working successfully in intercultural contexts, both in physical and virtual professional environments.
The course gives an introduction to the field of intercultural and global competence and highlights the relevance, applications and effects of technology in different professional contexts.
The course is conducted online, with written assignments, labs and seminars.
After passing the course, the participant should be able to:
Minimum 30 ECTS from higher education.
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Selected parts of the course may require compulsory attendance. Any compulsory attendance will be made clear to participants in the detailed course syllabus provided at the beginning of the course.
