Intended learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student shall be able to:
- analyze and clearly state his/her information needs
- evaluate different sources of information and be able to choose which sources that are best suited to fulfil the information needs
- formulate search questions specifically adapted to selected sources of information
- perform text, structure and reaction based information searches in relevant databases
- critically evaluate and document the result of information searches

University level studies in chemistry are required to perform searches in the databases that are presented during the course.Specific requirement: Organic chemistry 1 (KD1090), or equivalent.
