Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The course aim to help the students gain momentum in their academic writing, to help plan their writing activities. After the course the student shall be able to:
- make a realistic plan for paper/thesis production considering time, resources and risk moments
- describe and implement how to create routines for successful paper reading and academic writing
- describe their own writing process and identify the pitfalls, describe how to avoid the pitfalls, identify factors that enable a productive academic writing.

Examination and completion
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
