Intended learning outcomes
After the course, the participants shall:
- Show awareness of the research areas scientific ground and its development.
- Show awareness of current national and international research within the area.
- Show the ability to put the own research in relation to national and international research.

Admission to postgraduate studies.
Literature
The literature consists of scientific articles.
The course literature is announced before course start.
Examination and completion
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

- INL1 - Home work, 5.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
- SEM1 - Seminars, 2.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
For pass: Active participation at seminars (minimum 80%).
For pass: Accepted literature reviews.
