The course is divided into a series of parallel seminars that give the student possibility to explore a special theme and to become known with a research training. Each seminar series is led by teachers with research background.

Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The course general aim is to give an understanding of research-based and theoretical aspects on the field of the architecture.
On completion of the course, the student should be able to
- analyse concepts, artifacts or processes with support in some different tools that characterise a research training
- present a critical analysis of a given text
- argue and present discoveries and results based on text, image, design work and/or prototypes

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

- SEM1 - Seminars, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
A precondition for examination is 80% attendance and active participation in lectures, seminars and other course activity and passed assignments.
A reflection around the own learning should also be reported.
