Book
I have been inspired by the successful work in the ab initio and Calphad area to generate basic models for mechanical properties. In the past modelling of mechanical properties including creep has been dominated by fitting empirical models to the observations with the help of a number of adjustable parameters. With such models there are very limited possibilities to make predictions and extrapolations.. On the other hand with the generated basic models, accurate predictions over many orders of magnitude have been demonstrated.
The results are summarised in the book
Basic Modeling and Theory of Creep of Metallic Materials
which is available online
