Research:

The basic research fields:

·        Refrigerants with low Global Warming Potential (GWP)

·        Using liquid cooling for electronic components such as, Thermosyphons, Heat pipes and Sprays

·        Heat Transfer in Mini and Micro channels

·        Natural refrigerants for cooling applications

·        Using Nano-Fluids for Enhancement of Heat Transfer

·        Enhanced heat transfer of compact heat exchanger

·        Using low grade heat in Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC)

PhD Thesis projects:

·         Load shifting and storage of cooling energy through ice bank or ice slurry systems, modeling and experimental analysis

·         Heat Transfer, pressure drop and visualization using ammonia in minichannels

·         Flow boiling heat transfer, pressure drop and dryout characteristics of low GWP refrigerants in a vertical mini-channel

·         Single Phase Convective Heat Transfer with Nanofluids: An Experimental Approach

·         Refrigerants with low GWP

·         Using nanofluids and nanoporous structure surfaces in heat pipes

·         Enhanced heat transfer of compact heat exchanger
