Projects

1) Kista 5G transport lab

Ericsson in collaboration with our Lab and Swidish ICT, has launched the Kista 5G Transport Lab to enable the 5G transport network to deliver near-ubiquitous connectivity and be a platform for service innovation (Project website)

2) The DISCUS - DIStributed Core for unlimited bandwidth supply for all Users and Services

The project goal is to exploit demonstrated technology and concepts needed to define and develop a new radical architectural concept that can enable an integrated wireless and FTTP future network which addresses the economic, energy consumption, capacity scaling, evolutionary, regulatory and service demand challenges arising from an FTTP enabled future (Project website).

3) OASE - Optical Access Seamless Evolution

The OASE Integrated Project examined Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) within a multi-disciplinary study to provide a self-consistent and coherent set of technological solutions (Project website).

4) gDAS – Green solutions for dynamic Distributed Antenna Systems

The gDAS project targeted to characterize how energy consumption for future DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) “Front Haul” relates to traditional networks with “Back Haul” fiber transmission to each radio base station (Project website).

5)Work on HD video conferencing group as summer project. I was working on Minisip application to optimize its performance. Minisip is written in C++ language and supports H.263 and H.264 coding schemes. At the end of teh project, we presented a high definition video conferencing package using open source softwares.
