About me

I am in the last year of my study towards PhD degree at Optical Networking Laboratory, Communication Systems department of KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

My research interests lie in the general area of optical networks and communication systems with emphasis on techno-economic and reliability analysis of next generation optical access network supporting fixed broadband and mobile back/front haul as well as network architecture design and network protocols. I have been involved in several national projects as well as FP7 European project with the focus on future broadband access.

I am an independent and flexible researcher who loves challenges in all forms. I would like to join an industrial research environment where I can see the reflection of my work in the real world. Abilities to address the core of a problem, to take a creative approach, and to perform well under pressure are my main assets to reach short and long term goals. I have been working independently and in collaboration with other people in interdisciplinary European projects. Moreover, my social activities and management experience have taught me the importance of accomplishing the work plans during my career path.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in the design and analyses of various aspects of optical access network architectures, mobile backhaul and fronthaul
  • Solid background in networking protocols, technologies and architectures, techno-economic and business evaluation and reliability assessment of broadband technologies
  • Expert in simulation tools such as network simulator 2 (NS2)
  • Programing knowledge of C++, Java, and MATLAB
  • Proficient communication skills: 1 patent, 12 publications, and coaching experience
