About me
I am now studying master degree at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. My research area is Technology applied Human Computer Interaction. During my bachelor studies at National Central University in Taiwan, my major in Information Management inspired me to think about how to utilize data effciently and how to technically empathize with users' needs with appropriate tools.
One of the important topic in my bachelor studies includes Business Intelligence and Business Data Protection. To absorb the knowledge efficiently, I took extra courses in information Processing fields such as Statistics, Marketing, economics, and Cyber Security programme at Nanyang Technological University at Singapore to understand the essential issues in Information Security. By getting the fundamentals of data aspects, I could build up a knowledge chain from fletching data, processing data, data analysis, and information visualization in the conditions of data secured protocals.
My go to interest is sound deep listening. Since sound is not only listened with ears, emotions, temperature, scent, or screen touching at the moment when we interact with the sound, are activated by our perceiving ability human borned with. To better understand interaction of human and music within perceptions with music, I recently launched a team project of connecting music with people's emotions. By applying skills such as building Machine Learning with bert models, librosa, and K-means clustering, music's emotions are recognized with lyrics emotion analysis and rhythm emotion recognition, which is extended to music recommendation system based on humans' feelings and emotions.
In my opinion, technology applied human-computer interaction is highly in focusing on "needs" & "balance". Technology can be efficiently generated. However, how to make it effectively strike balance between efficiency and needs is the lesson I'm working on, not only just project skills but also acquiring problem-solving of the future trend.
