About me
Ali W. Elshaari is a Marie Curie Fellow and Associate Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Benghazi in 2007 and his Ph.D. in photonics from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. Following his doctorate, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience, in the Quantum Transport group at TU Delft. He focuses on topological and quantum integrated photonics, aiming to develop novel high-performance circuits for communication, sensing, and metrology that harness the quantum properties of photons. He is also an editorial board member of Nature Portfolio - Scientific Reports.
