Pamela Freire de Moura (2022- )
Postdoctoral researcher, started in August 2022 within the SISTERS project. That is her first experience after her PhD and together we work on the development of a new biorefinery system to implement active molecules from food by-products into food packaging to increase the shelf-life and decrease food waste. We are currently working in a review draft on that topic, and a first paper is under preparation.
At the beginning of her postdoc, we have applied together for a MSCA-PF grant on a related topic (Edible and Sustainable food packaging) that is been granted in February 2023. In some summer she will be working in her own project and starting this prestigious international grant in my group.
