The six selected teams will be presenting their interactive projects on October 11, 2024 at 17:00, at Skogen, Tekniska Museet!

NAVET invites you to explore the boundary between nature and technology at this year’s NAVET Student Festival exhibition. This year, under the theme "The Forest," we proudly showcase the work of talented students from some of Sweden’s leading universities. Interdisciplinary teams formed by students from KTH, KMH, SKH, and Konstfack will present a series of projects that immerse you in the forest ecosystem through artistic performances and interactive installations. 

We welcome you to join us, witness these innovative works selected in 2023, and mingle in Trähallen afterward to discuss these projects directly with the creators.

17.00: Opening of exhibition (place: Skogen )
18.00: Performance: Is our relationship to/with the forest enough (place: Skogen )
19.00: Performance: BARK (place: Trähallen )
19.30: 21.30 Mingel & DJ in Trähallen

The projects:

  • BARK: A balancing act between the artificial and nature (Alva Harju Jansson, Lucile Fleurial, Christine Nordqvist)

  • No Tree Is An Island: Hub trees and mycorrhizal network through visuals and lights (Klara Vedin, Karl Simu, Leo Eltes, Ashwin Pherwani)

  • Is Our Relationship With/To The Forest Enough? (Aymara v.Borries Bisbicus, Sarah Hanses, Malena Mogwitz, Eli Ulfhammer, Gabriel Ferntoft)

  • Biopoetic Morphing: Reforming the forest-human communication (Xuehua Fu, Yuqing Tang, Jingkun Qiao,Yuanyang Ren)

  • Listen To The Forest/ Memories Of Forests (Helena Linder Miñambres, Anna Neander, Roya Naini)

  • Human Echoes in the Forest: An audiovisual exposition of human’s disruption to nature's equilibrium (Natalie Arnold, Siyu Wu)
