In the concluding panel discussion, we have invited speakers from the Nordic countries. The session is moderated by Hanna Zetterberg.
Marianne Ryghaug, SINTEF and Norwegian University of Science and Technology
Marianne Ryghaug is Senior Researcher at SINTEF, Department of Mobility and Professor of Science and Technology Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (PhD in Political Science). She led the Center for Energy, Climate and Environment at the Department of Interdisiplinay studies of Culture, NTNU until 2023. The last years her research has particularly been focused on research related to sociotechnical transitions in the areas of digitalisation of energy (smart grids, smart homes and cities) and transport systems, sustainable mobility and justice. Her research interest is in the interface between public participation and engagement, innovation and technology development, and energy and climate policy.
Henrik Gudmundsson, CONCITO
Henrik Gudmundsson is a senior consultant at CONCITO, an independent think tank in Danmark, with a focus on climate policy and green transformation. Henrik works primarily with sustainable transport and mobility and the role of cities in the green transition. Henrik is an environmental planner, Ph.D. from CBS and comes from a position as a senior researcher at DTU, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet. Henrik has published articles, books, reports, and podcasts on decarbonization of transport systems and indicators to measure sustainable progress.
Claes Kanold, Ruter
Claes Kanold has dedicated the past 9 years to Ruter, the Public Transport Authority of the Oslo region, focusing on ticketing, sales systems, new mobility solutions and digitizing commercial processes. Currently, he is involved in the department of Radical Innovations, mainly focusing on the Shared Autonomous Vehicles concept. With 30 years of prior experience in the airline industry, covering operations, sales, and digitalization, Committed to also fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) duties, he strives to contribute to the development of public transport systems in the Oslo region.
Dalia Mukhtar-Landgren, Department of Political Science, Lund University
Associate Professor Dalia Mukhtar-Landgre’s research interests concern municipal development planning and new forms of organization in public administration - above all the emergence of experiments, projects and pilots. She also works with issues related to local autonomy and how municipalities are affected by EU membership.
Sara Bergendorff, Transport Department, City of Stockholm
Sara Bergendorff is the Head of the Traffic Planning division. She has worked with sustainable mobility issues for 15 years both at the municipal and regional level in Stockholm as well as the private side. During the last years she has been leading the division responsible for implementing the zero emission zone, the first of its kind in the world. The division is also focusing on reducing car traffic in Stockholm by 30% until 2030 and more than doubling cycling in the city.
