Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Different aspects of creativity will be explored, and different technologies and tools are presented to develop creativity.

Intended learning outcomes

After passing the course, the students should be able to:

- account for different aspects of creativity and why creativity is needed

- explain what hinders and what enhances creativity at an individual level and in groups and in organisations.

- be able to use different methods and tools to develop creativity

- develop and lead a creative workshop

Learning activities

The course consist of eight seminars, that each have a diffrent theme. In the seminars we explore the theme with exercises, group discussions, lectures and videos from internationelly renowned speakers in the field. You will document your learnings and thoughts from the different teaching activities in a notebook, that becomes your own resorce book for creativity.  Each  week there is anew assignment that you will do until next week. We start the seminar by sharing the results and experiences from the assignment.
At the end of the course, you will plan a creative workshop and hold it for your classmates.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

Particpation at seminars, minimum 80%.
