After passing the course, the student should be able to:

• identify vulnerabilities and threats in networks, computers, software and applications
• describe, develop and model defence mechanisms
• carry out safety and integrity analyses

in order to

• understand and explain research results about safety and integrity in a specific research domain/systems.

During the summer school week: (i) Seminars, (ii) Programming workshop, and (iii) Posters and demos sessions (to attend and actively participate, not to prepare material for). After the summer school:  Individual study and assignments, online, flexible. 

For the upcoming edition, CySeP unfolds from June 9 to 13, 2025. Attendance during this week is mandatory in order to obtain credits.

The rest of the coursework will unfold on-line, and it can be flexibly completed leveraging canvas.
