Division of Resource Recovery

Creating economically and environmentally sustainable processes for resource recovery from primary and secondary raw materials is one of the challenges in realizing a circular economy.

BIWIC 2023

The 28th International Workshop on Industrial Crystallization (BIWIC) was held in Stockholm, August 30- Sept. 1, 2023. Thanks to all participants for excellent talks and discussions and hope to meet you soon again!

At the Division of Resource Recovery, we carry out research aiming at strengthening the development of novel techniques and processes for resource recovery. The work is often carried out in projects with the aim of recovering resources from e.g. mining waste or waste electrical and electronic equipment. A large part of our activities is focused on developing crystallization processes.
