Practical information regarding presentations

Parallel paper presentation sessions

  • The chair organizes the session, take contact with the presenters before the conference and then moderate the questions, feedback, and discussion during the session.
  • The authors present the papers & use a rotating discussant system.
  • A paper presentation can be in a traditional ppt-format or in free chosen format (dialog, narrative, short film etc.).
  • Time for each presentation approx. 10 min. During tour turn, the author/ presenter is expected to briefly (approx. 10 to max 12 min) present your paper. Then, the discussant provides her/his feedback (approx. 5 to max 8 min) after which the session is open to questions and comments from all participants.
  • The chair is to manage the time so that each paper gets an even share of time (approx. 22 min)
  • Bring your presentation on your own computer. There are no computers are available to borrow from KTH.
  • Room layout, equipment and size can be found here: https://www.kth.se/places/?l=en

Parallel round table discussions

  • Authors of round table accepted papers join in a round table discussion based on the papers and ideas expressed in the papers.
  • The chair moderates the discussion.
