What made you choose KTH, Stockholm, and Sweden?
KTH is known for its rigorous coursework and generous research opportunities. Alongside its long history in academic education since 1827, it has become one of the leading educational institutes in Europe and worldwide. These factors make KTH one of the best destinations for ambitious students.
Beside its beautiful nature, Stockholm is the cradle for many innovations and companies such as Skype, Spotify, Scania, and Volvo, which gives the students various training opportunities and potential future work opportunities.
What do you like most about KTH?
On the personal level, I highly appreciate the help I’ve gotten from the staff at KTH and the students here. It is a very friendly environment that helps newly admitted students feel at home. On the academic level, I like the research-integrated environment KTH provides alongside the very advanced laboratories, facilities, etc.
What are your impressions of Stockholm and Sweden?
It is very nice place to be. I was impressed by the air and water quality in Stockholm, in addition to the well-designed communications, and it is quite easy to move around the city using public transportation and enjoying the nice art works in Stockholm’s subway.
Are there any differences between studying at KTH and your home university?
I would say the biggest difference I noticed, is the close relationship between the students and lecturers. This eliminates the barriers between students and lecturers and thus creates a very comfortable learning environment.
What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for their master's studies?
I would highly recommend joining this great institute. Furthermore, I genuinely believe that all KTH students will be equipped with the needed knowledge and skills to be effective in their future work or research domain.
What do you see as the most significant aspects of your programme?
In our field of study, we deal with one of the most important issues nowadays – production and sustainability. Being part of such a programme gives the opportunity to participate in the global efforts to sustain our natural resources and promote smart and sustainable production solutions that take into consideration environmental and social aspects.
Are you taking part in any student activities?
Sure! I have joined the KTH Chess club and hopefully soon we will launch student tournaments, and I am looking forward to joining the KTH Outdoor club as well.
Do you have a dream job after graduating from KTH?
My dream job is to join KTH’s academic staff and participate in further research in regard to the sustainable production development.
