Scholarship application Erasmus + for internship and degree project

Here you will find a step by step guide on how to apply for the Erasmus scholarship, if you are doing an internship or your degree project abroad.

  1. EU logo

Financing on this page are funded by the European Union.

Start the application process by clicking the link to the Mobility Online  (MOL) system.
  2. Follow the instructions in the link and give initial information in the system. An email with a confirmation of registration is sent to you in order to finalize the application and information on how to upload documents.
  3. A Learning Agreement (LA) should be filled in and signed by three parties: student, receiving organization and suitable person at KTH School (program coordinator, academic supervisor or international coordinator). If it concerns an application for a degree project, the supervisor at KTH as well as the supervisor at the receiving institution should sign.
  4. Upload LA into the application portal Mobility Online. An invitation/contract alternatively an email confirmation from receiving organization should also be uploaded. That document should contain the exact dates for the internship or degree project period.
  5. A new email is sent from Mobility Online to you once the LA is submitted, providing you with an attachment, Scholarship application form/Grant Agreement, which is to be filled in and uploaded into the system. Only the student's signature is required, since the Erasmus administrator signs it digitally in the system.
  6. You will receive a confirmation from the portal when the scholarship application has been uploaded to the portal, and an attachment is included (Bank Details Form). If you have a Swedish bank account, you need to register your bank account with Danske Bank, which manages KTH's payments. Registration of bank accounts is done via Danske bank's website . Use Bank ID. KTH's customer number 79220 may need to be entered when you register your account.

Note that you should not register your bank account if you use a foreign bank - then the Bank Details Form must be filled in and emailed to erasmus-plus@kth.se .
  7. A potential extension of the internship or degree project can be made in the original LA under the part ”during” or ”after mobility”, previously uploaded into MoL. A request for an extension of an internship or degree project should be made at least a month before the ending date of the already approved period. The new ending date should be sent to erasmus-plus@kth.se .
  8. Towards the end of the internship or degree project period, information will be sent from the portal to you about preparing for the homecoming. A Certificate of Attendance (signed by the receiving university/organization; does not need to be KTH document) is to be uploaded into the portal.
  9. Not until the Certificate of Attendance is completed, the final payment of the Erasmus Grant will be made.

Please note – all documents that should be uploaded in the portal for exchange studies/Mobility Online must be saved in PDF format.

The application for internship or a degree project abroad will be continuous, i.e. without a specific deadline but the application should be completed at least one month before the start date in order to be approved.
