If you receive any payment information containing the Swedish letters å, ä, ö please replace them with a, a, o respectively.
Where do I enter my reference number?
If there is no specific field for the 4-5 digit reference number, please contact your bank for help. If no field is designated, place the reference number where you see fit (or in an appropriate place) and be sure to include your (student) name so that we may be able to identify the payment.
When will I receive my receipt? I need it to apply to The Swedish Migration Agency:
It could take 1-2 weeks for the payment to appear in Student Ladok. Please note that you can apply for a residence permit directly and do not have to wait for, nor submit your payment receipt from KTH to The Swedish Migration Agency. They will be notified automatically via Ladok when the payment has been registered.
What happens if I do not pay the tuition fee for the following semester?
A student who does not comply with the payment regulations will be suspended from further studies at KTH. The decision on suspension enters into force immediately and applies until full payment is made.
Students with accommodation through KTH will lose their tenancy contract. The same applies to the other benefits within additional services for tuition paying students (e.g. insurance, primary health care, etc.) until the suspension is reversed.
