Support at Funka
There are different support available through Funka. Based on your application, documentation and our meeting, Funka makes an assessment of what compensatory support that can help you in your study situation. In order to be able to receive a certain support, the support needs to fulfill a compensatory function based on your disability.
Here are some examples of support:
Extended writing time at the exam and partial exams.
Notetaking support: a classmate copies his/her notes to you.
There are special
regulations at KTH concerning written exams
. If you have not registered in time, you may write the examination in the regular hall, subject to availability. You will however not be able to receive your compensatory support from Funka at that specific examination.
If you have a temporary injury or illness, you are not entitled to compensatory support through Funka.
If you study at several universities/university colleges, you must apply for compensatory support at each university.
Make a new application in the system Nais if your support has expired.
Contact Funka by phone or email and we will book a new meeting with you to discuss whether there is any new support we can recommend you.
No, you will not be able to get your support for the exam if the online registration for the exam has already closed. The personal meeting with a coordinator must take place before the online registration for the exam closes.
The processing time when a complete application has been received is 15 working days. Therefore, make sure to apply for compensatory support well in advance.
