Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching puts professional developer tools, software, and services in the hands of faculty and students with a low-cost subscription options from Microsoft.
Who is eligible to use the service
- All employees and students at KTH who have a clear STEM orientation. Read more about Microsoft definition about STEM (learn.microsoft.com)
- Employees who follow courses/ study programs that fall within the STEM definition: "Any professional support staff whose primary responsibility is to maintain departmental labs are eligible to install Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software onto their personal computers for evaluation purposes only. The license amendment defines “Staff” as “any personnel duly engaged by the qualified educational user to teach or instruct students and/or to conduct non-commercial research."
Purpose of use
The software must be used for instructional and research purposes; it may not be used to run the infrastructure of the department. In addition, the department’s faculty and students may check out or download the software to install on their personal computers.
