There are many things to see and do in Stockholm. The city offers over 100 museums to visit, and there are plenty of cinemas, cafes, scenic views and a beautiful archipelago very close at hand.

There are many sports clubs and outdoor activities in and around Stockholm. For those that are employed, you can have a wellness subsidy (3000 SEK/year) you can use for a gym membership or sport.

Friluftsfrämjandet

Friluftfrämjandet is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit, non-religious and independent organisation that organizes lots of outdoor activities for members.

The International Library

Stockholm city has many libraries, but the international one offers books in more than 100 languages. It is located on Odengatan 59, tunnelbana station Odenplan.

There are several museums in Stockholm with free admission. There are also many more that are worth a visit, but will charge a fee.

Take a class or join a study group

Take a class! Art, history, silversmithing, cooking classes, yoga, handicrafts etc. Courses are given, in everything, all over the city, all the time. A course, once a week for a semester, is about 2.000-4.000SEK, depending on your interests.
