KTH's Collaborative Initiatives in Rwanda

In april 2024, KTH submitted a STINT strategic grant application with the goal to deepen our ongoing collaboration with partner institutes in Rwanda.

This collaborative initiative brings together institutions from Sweden and Rwanda to address common challenges in areas such as universal access to clean cooking, health, gender equality, and sustainability. Through innovative partnerships involving academia, government, and civic society, the project aims to advance and innovate in food sustainability, health care, sustainable energy and clean cooking.

By integrating research with crosscutting themes like Challenge-Driven Education, innovation and gender equity, the project seeks to foster resilient research cultures and empower change agents for a more sustainable and just society. This endeavor aligns with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and emphasizes mutual learning and development between the engaged partners.
