The project governance document describes the organisational structure of the IRIS project as well as the roles and responsibilities of the project’s actors and stakeholders. Processes for agreeing on resource allocation and use within the project are also described.

Key expectations

  1. Everyone recognises that a prerequisite for IRIS funding is cross-ITM-School collaboration.

  2. Researchers use of time/funding should be described in project plans, which also include explanations of how the project is interdisciplinary.

  3. Project plans need to be aligned with i) the Prefects who allocate funding as well as ii) the Area Coordinators before funding is allocated by the Prefects.

  4. Researchers working in the project have a responsibility to communicate research acheviements to the project's stakeholders e.g. via the IRIS Project homepages.
